Food , Theater and Comedy coming to the Dr. Phillips Center performing arts

Over the next few weeks the Dr. Phillips Center for performing arts will be hosting a unique mix of artistic events.

On April 21 at 8 PM you have the opportunity to see Emeril cook his favorite New Orleans recipes live on stage. Learn from one of the FIRST celebrity chefs how to bring the very best New Orleans cooking to your home. Ask tips from the legend who helped bring cooking shows into your home. Stay to have your copy of his latest cookbook Essential Emeril signed. It’s a night you won’t want to miss.

Hosting the evening with Emeril, restaurant entrepreneur and head chef of the award-winning 4 Rivers Smokehouse, is John Rivers. John has received national recognition, having cooked at the James Beard House in New York City and participated four consecutive years in the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival and two years at the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival. He recently published his first book, The Southern Cowboy cookbook, serves on numerous charity and school boards, and lives in Winter Park, Florida with his wife and two children.

On Saturday, April 23, 2016 Steve Martin and Martin Short sold out an 8 PM show and due to popular demand have added a 3 PM show. Tickets start at $55.00.
