Orlando Eye lights up for last night of Hanukkah

Posted on

In honor of the last night of Hanukkah, the Orlando Eye observation wheel has paid tribute to the Jewish Festival of Lights by turning into a 400-foot menorah!

Nine individual capsules, representing the branches of the menorah, were lit in white, with the brightest capsule representing the shamash candle, known as the helper, which traditionally lights the other candles on the menorah. The rest of the observation wheel was lit in blue.
